Portimao Group Pop-Ins
Every Wednesday from 09.45 until 12.00
Pop Ins is a well established group that meets weekly in the Bridge (A Ponte) a few minutes away from the main municipal swimming pool in the centre of Portimão, just off the Avenida 25 Abril. Marina Hardy has run the group from its start, eight years ago and can be contacted on 964820392 for directions. Cost of attending is free apart from a one euro donation towards the coffee and tea supplied. The group is aimed at pre-school ages of 3 and under.

By Car from anywhere in the Algarve
Drive to Portimão on the A22 (motorway)
Take Exit 5 Portimão
Drive STRAIGHT through 4 traffic roundabouts passing under the N125 overpass and beside the hospital
Drive STRAIGHT through the tunnel
Drive STRAIGHT through all traffic lights
Drive under the overpass bridge
The road curves to the left and merges with traffic from the left and goes immediately onto a roundabout.
Procceed over the next new roundabout
Turn LEFT at the main roundabout by Continente shopping center and McDonalds
Turn right at the first roundabout (with black and white pebbles) into Avenida do Brasil, passing car showroom.
Take the main LEFT turning with new apartment blocks on the right and find parking

Walk to the lower end of the street to find Cedipraia (apartment block with blue balconies and shops on first floor more of less opposite the Chinese shop). The bridge is the first unit inside the door on the left
There is a bus stop nearby on the Avenida 25 Abril, a couple of minutes walk away. Head up the road passing the municipal swimming pool on the left and take the main right into Cedipraia, you will see Alisuper at the junction.
Lagos Toddlers group
The International Community Church in Lagos has a toddlers group every Tuesday morning 10.00 until 12.00 starting back after Christmas on 12 January 2010, location is the church building located on 5 Travessa de Santo Amaro, Lagos . Contact the church at ICC-lagos.org for more information, phone 282 697 546 or 282 086 804. The entrance fee is nominal to cover tea and coffee costs.

Lagoa – Alcantarilha Explorers and Climbers Group
The Lagoa Christian Fellowship located near Alcantarilha at the “Porches Retail Park” Vale de Lousas on the EN 125 has a Mums and Toddlers group every Thursday morning, with a small charge for funds. Time is 09.45 until 11.30. Call Elaine on 916 447 407 for further information.
